Last entry is usually about 30 minutes before closing, but that leaves very little margin because the audio tour lasts around 40 minutes. For a more relaxed visit with time for photos, arrive at least 1 hour before closing.

Not for the standard visit in most cases. From mid-June through the end of September, Casa de Salinas usually shifts to morning-only hours and closes around 2pm, so it works better as an early-day stop in Seville.

Casa de Salinas generally opens 7 days a week, including Sundays, but private family events or special cultural programming can affect access. Because it remains a lived-in residence, occasional schedule changes matter more than at larger public monuments.

A fixed time slot is not usually required for the standard audio-guided visit. Entry is typically rolling during opening hours, which makes Casa de Salinas easy to fit in after nearby sights like the Cathedral, Giralda, or Santa Cruz.

Same-day visits are often possible because waits are usually short, but spring weekends and Holy Week bring heavier foot traffic to central Seville. Booking ahead helps if you’re trying to keep several major sights on a tight one-day schedule.

Aim for early to mid-morning for the main courtyard and staircase stained glass, when the light is softer and the interiors stay quieter. For the Bacchus mosaic, midday usually gives the clearest natural light in the rear courtyard.

Regular tourist visits are daytime only, so Casa de Salinas is not a good after-dinner sightseeing stop. Evening access is usually limited to special events, including performances, or to private VIP visits arranged separately in advance.
